CAN I READ THE MESSAGE BOARD WITHOUT BEING A MEMBER?
Yes. Any group message board can be read by anyone and membership is not required.
However, membership is needed in a group if you would like to
REPLY to Messages, or to POST a Message, and is also required to access the group
PHOTO Galleries, Group LINKS, or to participate in group polls, contests and prize giveaways.
It's simple and it's free ! Become a group member and have fun with collectors around the world !
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BECOME A MEMBER?
A free YaHOO ID with a valid email address that must be set to a message delivery option
- Individual Emails, -or - Daily Digest, -or, Special Notices. Any one works.. EXCEPT
DO NOT set a delivery option of - Web Only - (No Email)
If you set your mail delivery to WEB ONLY, your membership in the group will be removed automatically after 3 unsuccessful email delivery attempts from the GROUP, or from YaHOO.
A first name is always nice TOO !
Our Groups are for collectors of all ages, so please be kind to words and people.
YaHOO collects and verifies IP ADDRESSES based on origin.
WHAT IF I DO NOT WANT TO RECEIVE EMAIL FROM THE GROUP?
To limit the amount of email you receive, you should choose the delivery option of SPECIAL NOTICES. This will only allow special notice emails from the moderator or important group emails, such as group announcements, prize contest entries, notices, or to verify an email address.
If you choose SPECIAL NOTICES as your email delivery option, be sure to VISIT the GROUP often
to READ the MESSAGE BOARD INFO posted by collectors as they will not be delivered by email.
If you set your delivery to WEB ONLY, your membership in the group will be removed automatically
after 3 unsuccessful email delivery attempts from the GROUP, or from YaHOO.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I CHANGE MY EMAIL ADDRESS AFTER I AM A MEMBER?
You must also update your YaHOO ID account with the new email address. If this should happen, just update your YaHOO ID email address and rejoin the group with your NEW email address.
Your membership in the group will automatically be removed after 3 unsuccessful email delivery attempts from the GROUP, or from YaHOO. If this should happen, just update your YaHOO ID PROFILE and rejoin the group with your NEW email address and correct your membership.
CAN I POST MY EBAY AUCTION LINK TO THE GROUP MESSAGE BOARD?
No. Unfortunately the EBAY LINK will not post correctly because the length of the link is too large .
Please just post the eBay ITEM NUMBER, or your EBAY ID, so members can search your auctions.
Please be sure to let us know when the auction start & ends so we won't miss it !
CAN I POST FOR SALE ITEMS ON THE MESSAGE BOARD?
Yes. We encourage members to sell their items to our group membership.
If you are selling a single item,
please post a Message to the BOARD of the item you are selling, include all relevant information as to condition, whether certificates are included, item boxes, the selling price, or your offer to sell.
It is NECESSARY that the SELLER INCLUDE an EMAIL ADDRESS inside the TEXT OF the POST,
so that those receiving Messages from the Group by email will have the SELLERS email address
to REPLY TO. SELLERS please email any interested buyers directly. DO NOT POST ADDITIONAL TRANSACTION INFORMATION to the BOARD. Keep the transaction PRIVATE.
If you have MANY ITEMS, or a COLLECTION to sell,
please CREATE a LIST of items and include all relevant information as to the condition of the item,
with/without certificates, item boxes, ..Etc.... This is the easiest way to offer a large collection.
Next, POST a message to the group board telling the membership that you have many items to sell and you have a LIST, and for members of the group to email yiu directly to request the list.
It is NECESSARY that the SELLER INCLUDE an EMAIL ADDRESS inside the TEXT OF the POST,
so that those receiving Messages from the Group by email will have the SELLERS email address
to REPLY TO. BUYERS that are interested will email the SELLER privately to REQUEST an EMAIL LIST of ITEMS. SELLERS please email any interested buyers directly. DO NOT POST ADDITIONAL TRANSACTION INFORMATION to the BOARD. Keep the transaction PRIVATE.
